Within the planning document we go through with you, we will look at which spaces you wish to use. Each area can be setup as you wish by our team. We can help with some inspiration should you need, or you can see what your suppliers are able to offer.
THE NORTH LAWN
March – October
Facing the North Door, the Dell with its shrub fringed path is a riot of sun-dappled sylvan charm and, in the Spring, bluebells, daffodils and snowdrops make a seasonal appearance. A stroll through this part of the gardens is a calming experience allowing guests to enter a secluded world with occasional glimpses of gables and sunset coloured brickwork while sipping on bubbles.
Included within the facility fee between March ~ October is our stretch marquee –
Located through a secret garden just off the North Lawn. Enabling shade during the hotter months and shelter on increment days.
Inside The Main House
The Great Hall
Capacity: up to 100
Available all year apart from June when the house is open to the public.
The House itself is first recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086! Oozing with history, and a romantic atmosphere The Main House is available to upgrade should you desire for your drinks reception. In the gallery above The Great Hall, sits a perfect location for musicians to serenade your guests for a “Love actually” ambience.
The Main House is also used as a film & television location, which you may have noticed it in some of your favorite films
The Courtyard
of The Coach House
The secluded Courtyard is generally used for evening alfresco drinks, either to greet your evening guests or to filter out for evening nibbles, cake cutting & cocktail stations!
It can, however, can be used for a daytime drinks reception if you have not had a ceremony in The Couch House Barn itself.
