General Information

Payment

On public open days, please pay your admission on arrival at the Welcome Desk where we accept payment by credit/debit card. During the pandemic, it is our strong preference to avoid cash payments if at all possible.

Groups should contact us to discuss advance payment options.

PARKING & DROP-OFF POINTS

There is plenty of free parking at Dorney Court.

Coaches should park on the hard surface at Dorney Court Kitchen Garden or drop off visitors at the top of the gravel drive leading to the House before proceeding on to the car park.

Car parking is clearly signed and is never more than 300 yards from the House while we make special provision for mobility-impaired Visitors (see Disabled Facilities).

ACCESSIBILITY

The ground floor of the House, as well as the Grounds, are accessible to wheelchair users. The Kitchen Garden is also wheelchair-friendly.

PICNICS

Our Visitors are most welcome to bring their own picnic and enjoy themselves in any of the perfectly suited spots in the Gardens.

LOOS

Loos including loos equipped with disabled facilities are located at the House and at the Kitchen Garden.

SOUVENIR BROCHURE

A beautifully illustrated brochure is available and makes for a lovely way to remember your visit.  Our brochure is packed with facts and information and relates the history of Dorney Court and the Palmer family.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Amateur photography and filming (including mobile phones) are welcome in the Grounds, but not inside the house.

SMOKING

Smoking is not permitted inside the House, the Coach House Barn, the Church, or any enclosed area including the courtyard.

DOGS

Sorry, no dogs are allowed within the House and Grounds except guide dogs.
