Throughout 2024 and beyond, we are delighted to welcome groups of visitors by private appointment.
Please note that we have a minimum admission charge based on a group size of 20. Generally, tours take around an hour although our specialist ‘Connoisseurs’ Tours’ last a little longer.
Public Open Days
June 2024: 12.30pm – 16.00pm
Since 1981, when Dorney Court opened its doors, we have taken enormous pleasure from welcoming thousands of visitors to the House and Grounds. We want to ensure that you have an enjoyable visit as there is much to see and do, tours around the House, walks and views across the Gardens and Parkland, meeting the rare breed chickens in the Walled Garden and taking time for a well-earned cream tea.
You are welcome to simply stop by for a guided tour inside the House which takes around an hour, but, if afterwards, you want to wander around the Gardens and explore the surroundings including neighbouring Dorney Lake (the Olympic Rowing venue), we would recommend you allow at least 2 hours.
Very occasionally, if we are hosting a film crew or there is a wedding in the Park then there may be some changes to our usual tour programme and you may notice the odd prop or related paraphernalia. Advance notice of filming in the House is posted on our website, if it will fall on a public open day, otherwise, we will liaise with private and connoisseurs’ tours as required.
