The Estate
Dorney Court Estate is a modern diversified business with the House and the family at its heart.
A working farm, stables offering livery and rental properties all play important roles in sustaining the Estate and helping to retain a sense of timelessness. Over the years, these traditional areas of focus have been supplemented by exciting new ventures including opening to the public (1981), hosting film and television productions (1982), offering activity & team building days (1990), weddings (2011) and unveiling the Coach House Barn (2014).
The Estate owes its continuing viability and remarkable warmth to the incredible range of people who play such valuable roles across the breadth of the operation. We hope that visitors to the Dorney Court Estate will enjoy and appreciate the efforts and skill of everyone involved whether they are visiting the garden centre, using the facilities at the stables, or even getting married.
Today, the Estate is also a centre of horticultural excellence playing host to a garden centre run by Crocus in the old walled garden, the UK’s only tree showroom curated by the prodigiously talented Jamie Butterworth and a nursery stocking a range of hedging and more exciting specimens runs by Smits of the Netherlands.
