Visitors enjoying one of our Connoisseurs’ Tours are welcomed upon arrival with tea, coffee and homemade biscuits with another round of refreshments once the tour is over. For others, the Tea Room at Dorney Court Kitchen Garden offers a range of light snacks, homemade goodies, soft drinks and delicious cream teas while both The Palmer Arms and The Pineapple pubs deliver extremely good food in distinctive settings.
Both the pubs and the Tea Room have ample seating with additional space outside but if you are part of a larger group visiting the House then we recommend that you contact them in advance.
Our Visitors our most welcome to bring their own picnic and enjoy themselves in any of the perfectly suited spots in the Gardens.
Visitors will want to allow a minute or two to investigate our small gift shop with its eclectic range of Dorney Court stationery and postcards as well as a selection of other pieces that will serve as mementoes of a wonderful day. In particular, delicious golden honey from the Estate is on offer – only appropriate as Dorney means “Island of Bees”.
Dorney Court Kitchen Garden has a wide range of plants and gardening equipment and is generously stocked with myriad other temptations.
