Venue hire is for 9 hours is usually from 15:00 till midnight. If you would like to finish later than midnight the cost is £1,000 per additional hour (+VAT) and with a limited number of late licenses available per year.

If you would like to go ahead with a booking at Dorney Court please ask for our booking request form. From this a contract will be drawn up and it’s only on receipt of this signed contract and paid deposit invoices that your booking is then secure.

Cancellation charges are payable for cancellation of any event or part event which has been confirmed by the client.  Please refer to your ‘Event Contract’ for a clear breakdown of costs and non-refundable payment stages.

Yes, supplying your own drinks is possible, we charge a drinks service charge per person for the full day, which includes removal of bottles at the end of the event.

There is no minimum spend on the cash bar unless the Pineapple package is booked where a £750 minimum spend is applicable.

Yes, the North Lawns are included as part of your venue hire for the House and the Coach House Barn.

[toggle title=”Can we have photographs taken in the House?” on=”false”]

The House can be hired for the bride, groom and close family members to have photos taken (subject to availability). There is a supplement of £250 (+ VAT) for up to 1.5 hours. The House can be hired for receptions and is charged at £1,000 (+VAT), for the first 2 hours, plus £500 (+VAT) for every additional hour thereafter. It is not possible to hire the House on bank holidays and in August until after 17:30.

We have a recommended supplier list. These suppliers know the venue well and how best to operate on site. This should help you select the best suppliers for your event. We do also allow some external suppliers at Dorney Court. All external suppliers that are not on our recommended list must read and sign our supplier handbook and issue Absolute Taste with relevant risk assessments, PAT certificates and public liability insurance for approval.

Yes, the floor in the barn must be protected and therefore a dance floor is require if you wish to dance in the barn. Dance floor prices start from £295 (+VAT) for a 15×15 wooden dance floor. Dancing is not permitted in the House.

Dorney Court is a Grade 1 listed building therefore nothing can be fixed to any surface, either internally or externally. Everything must be freestanding. Freestanding branding or stands are acceptable within the hired areas. If you would like to use the Dorney Court or Absolute Taste logo please let us know for approval.

All electrical equipment must be provided by an approved suppliers and carry suitable PAT test certificates, unless agreed and approved by Absolute Taste prior to your event.

We have ample free parking on site which is available for you and your guests to use during your event. We accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to vehicles left in our car park.

[toggle title=”Will there be directional signage for guests?” on=”false”]

Yes, there will be signage in place on the day of your event to direct guests to the correct areas. If you would like to display further signs, balloons or streamers en route to the venue, please feel free to do so but ensure your event planner is made aware of your plans. Additional signage must be taken down at the end of your hire period and it is the responsibility of your party to do so unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed with your event planner.

We will work with you to ensure that guests with special requirements are looked after at Dorney Court. Please contact Absolute Taste to discuss individual needs including parking and ramps. The Coach House Barn has disabled toilet facilities on the ground floor.

Yes, Dorney Court has a two-bedroom self-catered cottage on site. Gale Cottage is a beautiful contemporary conversion of Dorney Court’s former stables. The pretty gabled cottage sleeps 4 people in 1 double bedroom and 1 twin room and has a living room and a spacious kitchen. Check in is from 12:00 noon on the day of arrival and check out is at 10:00am on the day of departure.

We will discuss deliveries with you during the course of the planning stage. As a rule, we can only receive deliveries on the day of your event and within a pre-arranged time frame.

Everything must be collected immediately at the end of your event day unless a strike day has been agreed. Dorney Court cannot except any responsibility for items left at the venue.

Candles and naked flames are permitted at Dorney Court but must be encased in glass holders. We also recommend battery operated candles which are a great alternative.

No unfortunately lanterns are not permitted at Dorney Court, due to the livestock in the area

Yes, you can have fireworks at Dorney Court. These must be provided by one of our accredited suppliers and finish by 22:30.
