Disabled Facilities

Dorney Court welcomes disabled visitors and those with special needs.

The following summary gives general details of what is available to help our visitors to enjoy the House and Grounds. We recommend that you contact us by email or telephone in advance of your visit to discuss any particular requirements.

  • Dropping off point in front of the House
  • Dedicated parking area in visitor car park
  • An excellent DVD tour of the upstairs rooms of the House
  • Special WC facilities including a unisex disabled WC in the Coach House Barn and at Dorney Court Kitchen Garden
  • Assistance dogs allowed into the House and Grounds
  • Free admission for companions accompanying disabled visitors

Please note that the ground floor of the House, and the Gardens, are fully wheelchair accessible, the route does incorporate some ramps and gravel paths. We would advise wheelchair users to bring a companion on their visit.

If you have a disabled passenger who is unable to walk from the car park to the House please drive them right up to the front of the House using the gravel drive before driving back out and parking in the car park. It would be helpful if you would contact us in advance if this is your intention
